Igness, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of users' personal information in the services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as "the Services").

Article 1 (Definition of Personal Information)

In this Policy, "personal information" shall refer to "personal information" as defined by the Personal Information Protection Law and means information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual through data such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, and other descriptions, including appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and data related to the individual's health insurance certificate insured number that can identify a specific individual from this information alone (personal identification information).

Article 2 (Methods of Collecting Personal Information)

The Company may inquire personal information such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver's license number when users register for use. In addition, the Company may collect transaction records and payment information including the user's personal information from the Company's partners (including information providers, advertisers, ad distributors, etc. hereinafter referred to as "partners").

Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:
1. To provide and operate the Company's services
2. To respond to inquiries from users (including identity verification)
3. To notify users about necessary information such as maintenance information
4. To identify users who have violated the terms of use or are attempting to use services for improper or unjust purposes, and to refuse their use
5. To allow users to view, change, delete their registration information and view their usage status
6. To bill users for usage fees in paid services
7. Other purposes incidental to the above purposes

Article 4 (Providing Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining prior consent from the user, except in the following cases or as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Law and other legal regulations.
1. When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and obtaining the person's consent is difficult
2. When it is necessary for special purposes in promoting public health improvement or sound growth of children and obtaining the person's consent is difficult
3. When cooperation is necessary for a government organization or local public entity, or a person entrusted by them, to perform affairs prescribed by laws and obtaining the person's consent may impede the performance of such affairs
4. When the following items are announced or disclosed in advance and the Company has notified the Personal Information Protection Committee
 1. Including provision to third parties in the purposes of use
 2. Items of data provided to third parties
 3. Means or methods of provision to third parties
 4. Stop providing personal information to third parties at the request of the person
 5. Methods for accepting requests from the person

Article 5 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

When the Company is requested by the person to disclose personal information, it shall disclose it to the person without delay. However, if disclosure falls under one of the following categories, all or part of it may not be disclosed, and if a decision is made not to disclose, the person will be notified of that decision without delay.
1. When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the person or a third party
2. When there is a risk of seriously hindering the appropriate execution of the Company's business
3. When it violates other legal regulations
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information such as history information and characteristic information will not be disclosed in principle.

Article 6 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

1. Users may request the Company to correct, add or delete (hereinafter referred to as "corrections") personal information held by the Company through the procedures prescribed by the Company if it is incorrect.
2. When the Company receives a request from the user stipulated in the preceding paragraph and determines that there is a need to comply, it shall promptly make the necessary corrections to the personal information.
3. When the Company has made corrections based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph or has decided not to make corrections, it shall promptly notify the user of this decision.

Article 7 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)

1. The Company shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay when the person requests the suspension or deletion of use (hereinafter referred to as "suspension of use") due to the personal information being handled beyond the scope of the purposes of use or due to being acquired by improper means.
2. Based on the investigation results, when it is determined that there is a need to comply with the request, the Company shall promptly suspend the use of the personal information.
3. When the Company has suspended the use based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph or has decided not to suspend the use, it shall promptly notify the user of this decision.
4. Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if suspension of use requires a large sum of cost or if suspension of use is difficult to implement and alternative measures necessary to protect the user's rights and interests can be taken, the Company shall implement such alternative measures.

Article 8 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

1. The contents of this Policy may be changed without notifying the users, except for laws or otherwise independently stipulated in this Policy.
2. Unless otherwise stipulated by the Company, the revised privacy policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
